SELMA — Lynnette Blevins has returned to the Sonic Drive-In, 2407 N. Broad St., after 19 years as general manager. The renovated restaurant held its grand re-opening Tuesday, and the skating carhops will be in full force by the end of the week.

Blevins said she had 533 job applications for the restaurant and has 50 on staff now. The drive-in has 10 managers.

Hours of operation are 6 a.m.-11p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 6-1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. The restaurant is owned by McClain, Harvey and Vaughan of Jackson, Miss.
