Police department investigating Friday night triple shooting

The Selma Police Department is actively investigating a triple shooting that happened late Friday night.
According to Lt. Tory Neely with the Criminal Investigations Division, the shooting happened on South Avenue.
Neely said three people were shot, but details on the incident are limited at this time. Two victims are being treated at Vaughan Regional Medical Center, while the third was airlifted to an out of county hospital. Selma Police Chief Spencer Collier said the victims are three males ranging in age from 25 to 31.
The extent of their injuries are unknown. No arrest had been made as of 11 p.m. Friday night.
Collier said a patrol officer responded and secured the crime scene. The department’s recently formed Crime Suppression Unit has been assigned to the case and are actively investigating the shooting.
