Wedding: Booker and Brady
Jacquelyn Renee Booker and Matthew Duke Brady were united in marriage on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at eleven o’clock in the morning in the gardens of the Vaughan - Smitherman Museum. Dr. Kenny Hatcher performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Walter & Debbie Booker and Mike & Dena Cutler. She is the granddaughter of Price & Carolyn Booker and the late James Box and Linda Fitts Box, all of Selma.
The groom is the son of Duke & Sharon Brady. He is the grandson of Charles & Doris Brady Usrey and the late Robert A. (Hot) Brady Jr., of Selma, AL. He is the grandson of the late Forrest (Windy) Gregg and Leila Jones Gregg. He is also the grandson of the late Enzo Chandler, all of Selma, AL.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister, Tiffany Smith of Panama City, FL, as her matron of honor. Her bridesmaid was her longtime friend, Anna Dolbare of Selma, AL.
Duke Brady served as his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Jason Brady of Russellville, AL, brother of the groom and Brian Brady of Alpine, AL, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Bryan Booker, brother of the bride, Scott Chandler, both of Selma and Clayton Brady of Tennessee, cousin of the groom. Wedding music was provided by Jared Jackson of Selma, cousin of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Vaughan -Smitherman Museum Building. After a Canadian/New England cruise, the couple will reside in Russellville, AL.
