Mr. Harold Lawrence and Ms. Cindy Anderson of Maplesville, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Candice Nichole Lawrence to Justin Clark Irwin.
The prespective bridegroom is the son of Ms. Becky Irwin and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Irwin of Selma, Ala.
Miss Lawrence is the granddaughter of Ms. Essie Anderson and the late Mr. Mackey Anderson and Ms. Margie Smith and the late Thomas Lawrence.
She is a graduate of Isabella High School and presently employed with Bank Trust.
Her fiancé is the grandson of Mrs. Joann Beaver and the late Mr. Jim Beaver and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Brooks and Mr. Calvin Irwin. He is a graduate of Dallas County High School. He is presently employed as a welder with Burkes Mechanical.
The wedding will take place Saturday, September 26, 2009, at 5 p.m. at Kenan’s Mill in Selma, Ala.

Engagement: Hastings and Quincey

Kristina Elaine Hastings and Jacob Clifford Quincey

Mr. and Mrs. Dawson Wayne Hastings of Selma announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristina Elaine Hastings, to Jacob Clifford Quincey.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Brown of Dryden, N.Y., and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Britton and the late Mr. Amos Hastings of Vevay, Ind. She is a graduate of Morgan Academy and Troy University, where she received a Bachelor of Elementary Education. She was affiliated with Kappa Delta Sorority. Miss Hastings is employed at Cloverdale Elementary in Dothan.
The prospective groom is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Clifford Patrick Quincey of Enterprise. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hatch and Mrs. Peggy Quincey and the late Mr. Clyde Quincey.
Mr. Quincey is a graduate of New Brockton High School and Enterprise-Ozark Community College where he received an Associate in Applied Science in Avionics Technology. He is employed at Fort Rucker.
The wedding will take place November 21, 2009, at First Baptist Church Selma.
