Reader lists reasons why he will vote for Ufomadu

Dear Editor,
People who know Dr. Udo F. Ufomadu understand that he is an asset to any group. While a person may not like or agree with everybody that supports Dr. Ufomadu for the run off election for the Selma City School Board District 4 on December 8, it is pertinent to realize that the election is about Dr. Ufomadu and his beliefs and qualifications for the school board and not about any particular individual that endorsed him. I don’t believe that it is Dr. Ufomadu’s responsibility to choose who supports him.
If you look at both candidates for district 4 critically, a person is left to wonder if there is actually a contest between Dr. Ufomadu and Mrs. Debra Howard. Not to take anything away from Mrs. Howard, but I believe that the Selma City School Board is tired of having unnecessary hell raisers that do things to the detriment of our children. We want to grow and we embrace any one who genuinely wants to help .The across the board endorsement that Ufomadu was getting caught my attention that I began to study him. His fellow board members have respect for him and his strong positions.
Debra Howard and her trouble shooting attitude is not even suited for the Parents Teachers Organization or any focused educational organization, not to talk about School board. It is time for her to go so that the board and the Superintendent will focus on the business of quality education.
Dr. Ufomadu’s endorsements are not one sided and that is a good signal when friends and foes see something good about a candidate. I must vote for Dr. Ufomadu on December 8 and I encourage all that are tired of unnecessary fights and bickering at the expense of our children’s future to vote for him also.

Dr, Ufamado is a victim of circumstance. I hate that these no count organizations endorsed him in the first place. The only endorsement that was worth anything was the STJ endorsement. Its funny how they are overlooking that. The STJ endorsed another lady running and has has been called the white peoples candidate but those who endorsed Dr. Ufamado won't discuss he also was the so called white mans choice. I hate he even received the endorsement because that Perkins Machine will ruin his chance.
Lets keep it real. Debra Howard has a bad attitude. She is rude and borderline ignorant. District 4 should be weary of the foolishness that says to support her because Rose Sanders is attacking her. Vote because when you ask her anything she does not agree with she gets ignorant.
And also all that mess she covered on viewpoint is a mess. Okay I will commend her for standing up to corruption but after she stirs the pot of Sh*t she does not stay to see the vote through. how cowardly.
Then Fraces Coles endorses Debra, that says alot!
Her only intent of serving on the school board is to start more mess to get rid of Dr. Obashan. She was the one calling Albert Turner on 105 telling all the business of the school board. that is not professional conduct. She and her group of candidates are proposing to get rid of Dr, Obasahan if they are eleceted. Now that Albert Turners has been kicked off of 105 he is now singing a different tune.
Albert Turners is supporting anyone who is will to get rid of Dr. Obasahan, and if you would look at his politically motivated endorsements it is obvious. He once called WHBB the racist white station and now he is on kissing Randy Williams butt! People don't forget the past, for if you do your future will surely be compromised! GOD Bless you Dr. Ufamadu and get on viewpoint and argue your position cause Debra is bad news just likew her attitude!

Why would Debra Howard want to get rid of Dr.Obasohan?What is Dr.Ufomadu's position on the early college program,stjblogger?I live in district 4 and i'm not a member of any "warring" faction,I just want to vote for the best candidate.

Ufomadu is definately not a part of anyone's "machine". He seems to be a man of his own. The majority of people love him but he is not the "clique-ish" type. They are just to excited to see such a qualified candidate running in that district. Have you seen his credentials?!?! This man has a Doctorate in Business Administration, a Master’s in Educational Administration/Supervision, and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration/Management! If that’s not impressive enough I read that he has additional Graduate coursework in areas essential to a School Board, such as Legal Basics of American Education, School Finance, Personnel Evaluation & Selection, Organization & Administration of Sec. Schools, Legal Environment, Theory of Organization, Personnel Administration, as well as Compensation Management.
I am objective and learning about both, but if we have someone who has this outstanding background to offer, why are people refuting to keep him on the Board? Is Reeves-Howard more qualified? What's her qualifications? Debra, I'm tired of hearing the accusations. It's about time she presents relevant facts. Can someone tell her to respond and tell me her educational qualifications? I want to know who's more educationally qualified.

Please remember when the Selma City School board meetings turnend into a three ring circus. This occurred when Debra Howard became a school board member and began showing off her unprofessional behavior during school board meetings.
Everywhere she goes and works a lawsuit and allegations follow as soon as she cannot get her way. Enough is enough, I a tired of destructive politics dividing our community black and white.
Let's elect people who are professional, honest and who do not carry a cloud of doubt and contraversy around their heads.
