Dallas County moves football game to Thursday

PLANTERSVILLE — Dallas County has changed gameday for Senior Night to Thursday, when Billingsley will come to Plantersville for the Hornets’ last regular-season game.

The game was scheduled for Friday, but will be played at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The Bears from Autauga County are 4-5 on the season, finishing in fifth place in Class 1A Region 3. The Hornets are 4-5, fifth place in Class 4A Region 3.

Nice try but Dallas Countys record is 3-6(2-5 in region play). Sad part with any bit of offensive organization they would have made the playoffs having taken Greensboro and Southside to over time. Those two games would have gave them the 4th seed over Greensboro. Maybe next year they will get a decent offense scheme together that actually fits they players. But until then another year of Keith being the only team in the county to make the playoffs.
