Why is Uniontown the place to get abused

Published Tuesday, September 15, 2009

Dear Editor,

I wanted to know why they are dumping ashes and stuff in Uniontown.

They say Perry County is the poorest county in Alabama, so I wanted know why don't we have fundraiser or something. We don't have any money coming from any where, but we are getting ashes and all kinds of stuff dumped on us.

Some of the kids would like to go play in open fields just to play football or put up their own basketball goal just to stay out of trouble, but when we do that they say we have to move or they say no trespassing.

Then, like a week later or something, they are dumping trash were they just told us to move from.

Their dumping ashes because you let them. We elect Steve Walton to start a movement to correct the situation. You (and an adult if you are underage) are to report to the Perry County Health Dept. and file a complaint about the non-permitted dumping in area you described. Make sure you indicate that a copy of the complaint is being forwarded to the state health dept. Next have a $2.00 lawyer file an injunction to stop the dumping. Have pictures with you when you go to the health dept, Congratulations, the dumping WILL stop. popdukes12
