Ah, a perfect catch

Published Friday, October 2, 2009

The other night a bunch of us yayas were sitting around the table talking about the men who most attracted us. Some said Cary Grant. Another said Rock Hudson (So he was homosexual, it didn't stop him from being attractive until his body was eaten up with AIDS). I always liked Richard Burton, the actor; well the explorer, too. And Robert Redford, even before he was the cute boy opposite Barbra Streisand in The Way We Were.

The round-table talk made me think about the STJ's latest promotion, The Perfect Catch. Now, in the dawn of senior citizenship, I'm wondering if there is such a thing. Some in Selma tell me it's so. So, I'm waiting to see.

OK, Selma - is there a Redford or Burton? Morgan Freeman or Denzel Washington out there? Ladies, do you choose for looks? brains? money?

Let's see those nominations. Oh, and I'll video tape them, so please ladies, go here and give me something to shoot.

Ah, the Perfect Catch...

    Looks fade.
    Money is temporary.
    Brains are relative.

What I look for is someone who has the ability to have a good time, laugh at life, and carry on like a kid but can turn around and be a responsible adult when it's required. I've learned that is a rare breed.

Actor Will Smith comes to mind.

The perfect catch doesn't exist sorry, either he/she is already married to someone who doesn't want him/her but won't let them go and they won't leave for whatever reason,
2nd what man/woman is going to sit and let you cry about your sorry events of the day without interrupting you about theirs,
3rd the perfect catch lives to far away for you to see his/her faults so therefore you are blind and see them through limited eyesight.
4th found him and the first line applied :(
Thanks for the venting session helped a lot. Miss Cary Grant, Rock Hudson the new generation is leaded by Patrick Dempsey I believe what a hunk.
