James R. Hill
James R. Hill, 76, of Montgomery, died Tuesday, April 13, 2004.
Services are at 10 a.m. Friday, April 16, at the Chapel of Leak Memory Chapel. A private burial will follow.
Survivors include his loving wife, Joyce Hill; daughter, Peggy Kelly; son, James Richard &8220;Butch&8221; Hill; granddaughter, Heather Kelly; and his beloved dog, Mickey.
Family visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, at Leak Memory Chapel.
Mr. Hill veteran of the U.S. Army, a Mason and a former member of the Montgomery Area Square Dance Association.
Frank James Thomas
Brother Frank James Thomas, 51, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004. Services were at 1 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2004, with the Rev. G.E. Williams and Mistress of Ceremony Raven Chambers officiating and Lee & Rollins Funeral Home directing.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Bryant Thomas Sr., and his mother, Eula Mae Thomas.
He is survived by three sisters, Ozella Thomas of Greensboro, Eula Jean (Swarner) Hill of Newbern and Polly Jean Thomas of Marion; five brothers, Cornelius Bryant (Adele) Thomas, David Brown Thomas, Jerry Clarence Thomas, Lucius Lee Thomas and Richard Lee Thomas, all of Marion; and a host of nephews, relatives and friends.
Hortense Cosby
Hortense Cosby, 90, died Sunday, April 11, 2004, at her residence. Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2004, at Friendship Baptist Church in Marion with the Rev. Arthur Brown officiating and Lee & Rollins Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Jackson and Cosby Cemetery in Marion.
