The Morgan Academy golf team finished second in an AISA tournament in Phenix City at Lakewood Golf Club for the Glenwood Academy Invitational Tuesday.

Thomas Glover fired a 78, and Dylan Jones shot a 79 to help the Senators take second place in the tournament. Bain Hanning finished with an 82, and Miller Majors with an 84 as Morgan’s team score was 323, 17 shots behind Glenwood Academy’s 306.

Glover and Jones were named to the All-Tournament team from Morgan. Kevin Cullinan of Glenwood and Cole Willis of Macon-East had the best rounds of the tournament, both shooting 73.

Cullinan and Willis also made the All-Tournament team. Following Glenwood and Morgan in the team scoring were Pike Liberal Arts (333), Lee-Scott Academy (335) and Macon-East Academy (344).
