5- and 6-year-old baseball:
Moose Lodge-16
Cosby Ice-3
Jeremy Perkins and Quindarious Griffin had a triple and hit a homer each as Moose Lodge took the win on Monday. Chase Mayo had two hits scoring a run.
Hunter Farley and Donnie Ross had two hits and a score.
For Cosby Ice, the only scores came off the hits of J.R. Wood and Ladarious Woods.
Nicholas Goodson had two hits while Adrian Smith and Phillip Peake each had hits.
7- and 8-year-old baseball:
Moore Stewart-21
Sports Connection-3
Holding down the pitcher circle, Alston Ivey did a good job on offense and defense as Moore Stewart took the win. Ivey had a triple and a single and scored two runs.
Troy Tolbert and Luk McLain each hit homers.
Jackson Henderson had two hits and scored twice.
It was a slow night. Three runs crossed the plate off of hits from Alden Pettway, Keyonte Page and Ladarrious Fullenwilder.
9- and 10-year-old baseball:
McDonald’s-9
Johnson’s Paint & Body-12
Darion Alexander scored two runs in the winning effort, but broke his arm on the second run, crossing the plate for Johnson’s Paint and Body.
Trey Clay, Davarious Bender and Jibrial Hayes all scored two runs each for Johnson’s.
Rashaad Jamal Ellis hit the second homer in 9- and 10-year-old league play in the losing effort.
Labarian D. Ellis and Rodney scored two runs each for McDonald’s.
Steve Lane Truck and Auto-15
Ross Plumbing-8
Steve Lane’s Truck and Auto was led at the plate by Hunter Helms and Taylor Lane with three hits each as they took the seven-run win.
Helms scored three times and Lane had five RBIs and scored twice. Bo Summers, Joey Raybon, Devonte Rembert and Alex Peoples all had a hit each.
Bobby Kennedy, Antonio Reeves and Ocie Cunnigham had two hits each. Tyron Smith, Rydericus Hardy, Quintravious Johnson, Calvin Boyd and Deantre Savage all had a hit each.
