on the new site scheduled at 3 p.m. Dinner will follow the dedication.

The church was founded in the home of Elder Moses Lucy Sr. who continues to be the pastor. With him in leadership is Minister Gertrude Giles.

The original building, a rented facility, is located on New Orrville Road on the left, just before Hancock’s Country Bar-B-Que. The new building is a five-minute walk up the road which veers left at that point, on the same side and behind Hancock’s which sits on The new facility is a brand-new modular structure which will better serve the church’s needs, according to Giles. “We’re very proud of our new building,” she said.

Earlier this week the new facility still had a large pile of gravel in the front, but all will be ready this coming Sunday for the big celebration, Giles said.

Giles said that the church will celebrate the move to its new location with a revival to begin 7:30 nightly Monday through Friday, June 14-18. There will be a different speaker each night, she said.

Giles said, “We do hope our Christian friends and neighbors will join with us to celebrate the dedication of our new church building and to join us for our revival next week.”
