William O. Terrell

William O. “Bill” Terrell, 72, of Selma, died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 17, at Pineview Memory

Gardens, with the Rev. George Jones officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife, Stella Seymore Terrell of Selma; two daughters, Wanda (Joe) Tarleton of Millbrook, and Sherry (Charles) Cole of Titus; two sisters, Dot Thomas and Mavis Wilson; five grandchildren Ashley Tarleton, Jason Tarleton, Christie Kramer, Kimberly Cole and Scott Cole; three great-grandchildren, Haley Kramer, Katlyn Kramer and Caleb Cole.

Active pallbearers will be Bill Hamner, Melvin Summerlin, Steve Tidwell, John Brock, Billy BoBo and Bobby Jacobs.

Honorary pallbearers will be other members of the Selma Police Department.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Cahaba Hospice.

He was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Terrell.

He was a policeman for 30 years and a member of the VFW and FOP Logde in Selma.

Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 16, at the Selma Funeral Home.

Johnny Floyd

Johnny Floyd of Prattville, formerly of Selma, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004, at his home.

Services will be announced at a later time by Lawrence Funeral Home.
