Albert Johnson Frazier, Sr.

Albert Johnson Frazier, Sr., 87, of Plantersville, died Sunday, August 15, 2004, at a Birmingham hospital.

Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, at the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Cumby officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include one son, Albert (Mary) Frazier; daughters Sandra Frazier and Amy Stough; grandsons, Jeremy Frazier, Kyle Frazier, Chris Stough and Brandon Stough; and sister, Margaret Anzinger.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Frazier and a brother, Bob Frazier.

Active pallbearers are Harris Huffman, Curtis Lewellen, Bud Parker, Ronnie Quarles, Bob Ed Reed and Tommy Swindal.

Honorary pallbearers are John M. Parker, Thurman Callen, Woodrow Smedley, J.W. McCullough and members of the Sheriff Department.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the UAB Trauma Unit.

Winfred Brown Jr.

Winfred Brown Jr., died Sunday, August 15, 2004, in Calera.

Services are at1 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, at the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Dr. Al Finch officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his parents, James Winfred Brown Sr. and Maude Ellen Brown; one brother, Durwood Brown and wife Karen of Melbourne, Fla.; one sister, Carolyn Atchison and husband Ralph of Dhahran of Saudia, Arabia. Also three nieces, Kendall Brown of Charleston, SC, Brittany Brown of Orlando, Fla., and Erin Suzanne Atchison of Auburn; one nephew, Kyle Atchison of Longview, Texas; and many aunts, uncles and first cousins.

Active pallbearers include family members Kyle Atchison, Terry Brown, Kerry Brown, Edwin Coe, Jerry Paulk, John Burroughs, David Brown, Mark Brown and Gordon Pugh.

Honorary pallbearers are T.A. McLeod, Gerald Creel, Robert Radford and Sparky Barkman.

Family visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please remember the American Red Cross.

Mr. Brown was a member of Elkdale Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Jefferson State University. He was a licensed Emergency technician and Ham operator. He was also a great supporter or the American Red Cross, having donated blood 90 times.

Edward Hagemann died yesterday, August 16, 2004.
