Willie Ed Jackson
Willie Ed “Sonny” Jackson, 65, of Selma, died Monday, September 20, 2004.
Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 25, at Summer Grove M.B. Church in Selma, with the Rev. A.L. Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Bettie J. Brown Jackson; one daughter, Patricia (Zedrick) Thomas; one son, Willie “Wil” Jackson; three granddaughters, Latoya S. Jackson, Jeanae’ P. Thomas and Kianna R. Thomas; two grandsons, Cory E. Jackson and DeSean Z. Thomas all of Selma; two sisters, Wilma Rogers of Selma and Vinest Steele of Rockford, Ill.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Willie Jackson, three sisters, Rosie Jackson Cunningham, Dorothy Jackson Davis and Thelma Jackson Todd and one child.
Odell Mosley
Odell Mosley, 63, of Brent, died Wednesday, September 15, 2004, at a hospital in Bibb County.
Services are at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 23, at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Brent with the Rev. James C. Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Cooper Cemetery in Centerville, with Lee & Rollins Funeral Home directing.
Mary Lee
Mary Lee, formerly of Marion, died Monday, September 20, 2004, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Monday, September 27, at Hopewell Cemetery in Marion, with Lee & Rollins Funeral Home directing.
Hannah O. Heard
Hannah O. Heard, of Marion, died Monday, September 13, 2004.
Services were held on Saturday, September 18, at Marion Baptist Academy with the Rev. Clifford Coleman officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Lee & Rollins Funeral Home directing.
Mary Starkey
Mary Starkey, 80, of Marion, died Tuesday, September 14, 2004.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 21, at Simpson Chapel United Methodist Church in Marion, with the Rev. Farriest Cureton officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Lee & Rollins Funeral
