Meadowview Christian’s junior varsity cheerleading squad out-shown their varsity counterparts, leaving the AISA’s cheer camp with the title of Camp Champs. The JV Trojans won first place in the extreme routine competition, third in the cheer competition and third in the home pom competition.
Lee came in and worked with the squad during the summer prior to going to the camp. As for the varsity, Stephens’ squad posted a runner-up finish in the varsity competition.
They placed second in the home pom competition, beating camp champ Lowndes Academy and then third in the extreme routine. Megan Miller and Sarah Biddle were selected as AISA All Stars. Biddle and Ruth Holbrook made varsity UCA All-stars. Hope Lee, Bailey Smith and Jordan Irwin were chosen as UCA JV All-Stars.
