Thomas C. Martin

Thomas C. Martin, age 88, resident of Selma, died August 8, 2005 at a local nursing facility.

Services are scheduled for August 15, 2005 at 12 noon at the Chapel of J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Rodney Morton. Burial is held in Elmwood Cemetery, directed by J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home.

Mr. Martin was born in Wilcox Country to late Square and Virginia Tucker Martin. He was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church and was a loving and devoted family man.

He is survived by one nephew, James Foster of Indianapolis, Indiana; four nieces, Rose Marie Favie of Salt Lake City, Utah, Thedrika Sawyer of Oakland, California, Ernesten (Walter) Greene of Phoenix, Arizona, and Jawana Jackson of Atlanta, Georgia; more include a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
