Henry King Clay
Funeral services for Henry King Clay of Dadeville will be at Langley Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 3 p.m. Burial will be in the Tallapoosa Memory Gardens. Rev. Steven King will officiate.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday at Langley Funeral Home Chapel.
Born on Monday, December 20, 1926, Mr. Clay passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2006 at the age of 79.
He was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church.
He was named Alabama Class A High School Coach of the Year in 1963 from Beauregard. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeffery Leon Clay II and Carrie King Clay and also a brother, Jeffery Leon Clay III.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Clay of Dadeville; two daughters, Mimi Glisson of Auburn and Ann C. Gordon of Roswell, GA; two sons, William Henry Clay of Birmingham and David King Clay of Auburn; one sister, Carolyn Clay Biggin of Birmingham; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Sarah Thomas, age 75, of Selma, died May 28, 2006 in Selma.
