To the Editor:

I seriously question the accuracy of Ziva Sahl’s statements, “Cuba trades with the entire world, and nothing has changed.”

The U.S. is the largest supplier of food to Cuba.

I would like to answer his following question, “Exactly what does Mr. Monton think lifting the embargo would accomplish?”

Lifting the illegal embargo would end the United States’ bullying of a country that has never attempted to overthrow the USA government, attempted to assassinate its president, protect known terrorists which blew up civilian airplanes and on and on. For myself, a born citizen of the USA, I would like to see the USA wall torn down and leave those Cuban people alone. Then both Ziva and myself could see what “lifting the embargo would accomplish.”
