To the Editor:

I saw it again this morning. While passing by the Public Safety Building, I looked up at our state flag and found the tattered and torn flag that I had seen there last week.

What’s going on here? Do our city leaders and our police force not have pride in the flag that represents our state?

Seems our city leaders do not have pride in many things these days. I did drive by City Hall to find that our American flag and our state flag there are in good shape – thank goodness, since those are in plain sight of the many people who drive down Broad Street.

Come on, someone – let’s replace the tattered and torn flag.
