Marion takes down Jackson

Right from the very beginning, the Marion Schools girls had very little trouble with Jackson Academy.
A 23-point win after the first period eventually turned into a 58-35 win.
Emily Easley led Marion (5-0) with a game-high 18 points, and Amy Parsons had 15. Sarah Fowler also joined her teammates in double figures with 10.
Marion went on to take a 35-11 lead after halftime, allowing just two points in the first quarter.
Marion cleared the bench in the fourth after already amassing a 42-18 advantage.
Kayla Coleman had 12 points for Jackson, and Erin Bowling had seven.
Adrienne Howze had six points and 12 rebounds for Marion, and Samantha Suttles also had six points.
