Hornets sting Eagles

Santana Seay scored 33 points and led the Concordia College women to an 80-67 win over Judson Wednesday night.
The Hornets took control of the contest early on with a 15-0 run to begin the game.
Despite a game-high 35 points from Mia Allison, the Eagles never recovered.
Judson fell down by as many as 23 points and was never closer than nine after Concordia’s initial run at the start of the game.
Anna Billingham hit a 3-pointer to cut Concordia’s lead to 24-15 with 7:39 left in the first half.
An 11-0 Concordia run with 5:06 left in the game extended the lead to 74-51.
Judson’s biggest offensive stretch came when it outscored Concordia 13-3 over a three-minute span late in second half. The score then stood at 77-64.
Allison Thomas scored 10 for Judson, and Ashley Glass had nine.
Jazzlyn Prince had 12 for Concordia, Darin Aras had nine and Tamara Shaw had eight.
