Dallas County Sheriff Harris Huffman said undercover drug operations in the Selmont community have resulted in grand jury indictments totaling 16 counts, and seven arrests.

Huffman said the operations, directed by Assistant Chief Deputy Wayne Odom, had been underway since December 2006.

Authorities targeted alleged drug dealers, and undercover agents were used to make purchases. Deputies executed search warrants and served indictments, where several arrests were made. Huffman said they happened to be there when the busts were made.

Indicted for unlawful distribution of a controlled substance were:

James Lamar Stitt, 29,

charged with one count of UDCS. Stitt was jailed on $50,000 bond. Authorities said he was already on probation for previous drug charges.

charged with two counts of UDCS. Freeman was jailed on $100,000 bond. Authorities said Freeman was in also in possession of marijuana at the time of his arrest.

Lydell Blevins, 53, charged with four counts of UDCS. Blevins was jailed on $100,000 bond.

Calvin Alonzo Johnson, 45, charged with two counts of UDCS. Johnson was in possession of cocaine and marijuana at the time of his arrest, deputies reported. He was jailed on $1 million bond.

Shanna Muldrow, 44, was charged with three counts of UDCS. She was jailed on $80,000 bond.
