Tony Dale Carter, Sr.
Tony Dale Carter Sr., age 44, of Plantersville, Ala., died Tuesday, July 2, 2007 at his home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday July 6, 2007 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Ingram officiating.
Burial will follow in Plantersville Christian Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at the funeral home.
Survivors include his father, Gordon Carter of Plantersville; son, Tony Dale Carter, Jr. of Brookhaven, Miss.; daughter, Catrena Carter of Brookhaven, Miss.; one grandchild; brothers, Glenn Carter of Plantersville, Donnie (Sirena Atchison) Carter of Plantersville, Scott Carter (Heather Walker) of Plantersville; one sister, Kristine Burge (Sam) of Plantersville; five nieces and two nephews all of Plantersville.
Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his mother, Maudine Carter.
Agnes L. Bell
Agnes L. Bell, 88, of Port St. Joe, Fla., passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007 in a Panama City Hospital.
She spent most of her life in Selma, Ala., but has been a resident of Port Saint Joe since 1998.
She was a member of Barrett Road United Methodist Church in Selma.
She is survived by her son, John E. Bell Jr., of Myrtle Beach S.C.; her daughter, Norma Wilkerson and husband, Raymond of St. Joe Beach, Fla.; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 29 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Old Live Oak Cemetery in Selma, Ala., at 2 p.m.
Those who wish may make donations to their favorite charity in Ms. Bell’s memory.

Roy Robson
Mr. Roy Robson, a native of Starkville, Miss., and a resident of Selma for 55 years, died Monday, July 2, 2007 in Spanish Fort, Ala.
Mr. Robson was a longtime member of Church Street United Methodist Church in Selma and retired from Alabama Power Company.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Araminta Robson of Spanish Fort, Ala.; two children, Roy R. (Frances) Robson of Adel, Ga., and Minta (Neil) McDavid of Gulf Shores, Ala.; one sister, Sadie Maloney of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Church Street United Methodist Church in Selma, Ala., with Rev. George Sedberry and Rev. Neil McDavid officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 a.m. on Thursday at the church.
A committal service will be held in New Live Oak Cemetery, Selma, Ala., following the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Church Street United Methodist Church, Selma, Ala., The United Methodist Children’s Home, Selma, Ala., or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.
