Mrs. Reba Jo Crowe

Mrs. Reba Jo Crowe, 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007.
She was a member of Lighthouse Church and Brother Earl Flint’s Sunday school class.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, from Leak-Memory Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Mickey Kirkland officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Leak-Memory Chapel.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Joseph W. Crowe, and daughter-in-law, Marianne R. Crowe. She is survived by four children; Joe W. and Nina Wood Crowe of Decatur, Elizabeth C. and Garner Williams of Montgomery, Randy C. and Andy Harris of Valley Grande and Milton E. Crowe of Selma; two adopted daughters; Gloria Flint of Montgomery and Diane Collins of Valley Grande; one sister, Johnnie Ruth Parker of Pike Road; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother, a published writer and recipient of several writers’ awards. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., Southern Care Hospice or your favorite organization. Visitation will be from noon until 1 p.m. Wednesday at Leak-Memory Chapel.
