Clean up our city before the guests arrive

The issue: Some parts of Selma need dressing up before visitors arrive for Jubilee.
Our position: If everyone would clean up around their property, the city would look better.
This is one we don&8217;t have to wait on government or bond issues for: cleaning up our city before our guests arrive for Jubilee.
More than 50,000 visitors will come through Selma next week, celebrating the movement that pushed through the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
This weekend would be a great time for everyone to grab some garbage bags and pick up around their houses. A cluster of flowers or two here and there for color would be the dividend.
This is our city. Let&8217;s show some pride.
