Community assists police in arrests

The Selma Police Department has made arrests in three incidents that occurred earlier this month.
Officers were able to identify the suspects because people in the community helped, according to Chief William Riley III.
“I would like to thank all of those citizens who assisted the officers and detectives in solving these crimes,” he said. “Their actions exemplify the highest level of community involvement that is needed to secure a safer community.”
