Leroy Bennett

Leroy Bennett was born in Safford, Alabama on July 22, 1948. Leroy was a Vietnam Veteran and served 39 years for the U.S. Air Force as an electrician where he was a Senior Master Sergeant for the 452 Civil Engineers Unit. He also served over 25 years for San Bernardino County as an Electrician/Cooling Systems Mechanic and later worked as a Computer Facilities Specialist.
His parents were Levi Sr. and Mary Bennett.
He is survived by his daughter and son, LeAnne and LeRoy Bennett, grandson Robert Cravens III, his brother and sisters Levi Bennett (Bloomington, CA), Annie Mae Harrell (Boston, MA), Bertha Kelley (Clearwater, FL), Deloris Rayford (Selma, AL), Susan Steele (Atlanta, GA), Mary Harris (Clear-water, FL), Debbie Wright (Clearwater, FL) and Jacqueline Tyus (Atlanta, GA).
Leroy enjoyed golfing, skiing, gardening, cooking, and gathering with his close friends and family to just get together. Leroy was a great problem solver for many mechanical and electrical issues and would help anyone who would ask.
