Maggie Louise Hatcher-Vasser, 72, of Detroit, MI, formerly of Selma, AL died Friday, September 5, 2008, at 27 Edgewood Dr., Selma, AL.
Services are scheduled for 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Bishop Pettus officiating. Burial will follow in New Live Oak under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Taylor and Eva Hatcher.
Survivors include her husband, James Vasser, two sons, Elbert Perry Jr. of Detroit, MI and Tiberish Perry of Atlanta, GA.; eight daughters, Odessa Taylor of Selma, AL, Geraldine Taylor and Joann (Joseph) Phillips of Ft. Wayne, IN, Georgia (Randolph) Thompson of Selma, AL, Rosa (Lester) Darnell of Atlanta, GA, Telisha (Tommy) Williams, Debra (Raymond) Jackson, Angela (Henry) Hunter all of Selma, AL; two brothers, Leonard Taylor of Cleveland, OH and Isiah (Emma) Taylor of Orrville, AL; two sisters, Earlene (Julius) Simmons of Beloit, Al and Mary Barner of Selma, AL; twenty-nine grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, six sons-in -law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Other relatives include one special Aunt Rosie Lee Davidson of Orrville, AL.
Pallbearers will be Micheal Robinson, Randolph Chaney, Rodrick Robinson, Tommy Williams, Jr., D’niron Robinson, Steven Phillips, Maurice Taylor, and Montique Taylor.
