Selma girls fall to Talladega
MONTGOMERY — A woeful shooting effort put the Selma Lady Saints out of Class 5A Regional Tournament at Alabama State University on Tuesday.
Selma shot 17-of-55 from the field and finished 2-of-21 on 3-point shooting in a 53-45 loss to Talladega.
Keisha Moore led Selma with 14 points. Ashley Grimes scored 13, and Breanna Smith had 10.
Marie McAbee had 14 to lead Talladega.
Talladega will play on Friday at 9 a.m. against the winner of Tuesday’s matchup with Carver and Booker T. Washington.
