Mrs. Josephine Jones, 83, of Valley Grande, AL died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Noland Hospital, Montgomery, AL. Services are scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Union Grove C. P. Church, Marion Junction, AL officiated by Rev. Dwight Woods and Rev. George Bennett, Sr. (Church Pastor). Burial will follow in Shade Place Cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.
Survivors include four sons, Eugene (Margie) Jones, Browns, AL, Charlie (Beverly) Jones, Orrville, AL, Curtis Jones, Valley Grande, AL, and Willie (Elaine) Jones, Demopolis, AL; three daughters, Annie Wilks, Demopolis, AL, Everlene Stallworth, Valley Grande, AL, and Bernadette (Floyd) Moore, Valley Grande, AL; one sister, Annie
Perkins, Los Angeles, CA; a devoted daughter-in-law, Beatrice Jones, Birmingham, AL; a grandson, whom she raised, Donte Reed; twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; other relatives and caring friends.
