Ms. Annie Bennett Jones, 54, formerly of Selma, AL. and a resident of East Point, Georgia, died July 3, 2009 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for Saturday July 11, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Potter’s Station officiated by Rev. Dr. Howard Beckham. Burial will be at the Lilly Grove Church Cemetery in Marion, AL. directed by Miller Funeral Service.
She was preceded in death by parents, Richard Jones and Beatrice Bennett.
Survivors include three sons: Quinton Jones, Wesley Jones, and Jermecki Bennett (Telisa); four daughters: Theresa (Micah) Grant, Yolanda Bennett, Chaka Jones, and Jeannetta Jones; five brothers: Richmond Jones, Tommy Jones, James (Jeannette) Bennett, J C (Linda) Bennett, and Dan Bennett; seven sisters: Annie Louise Jones, Izola Jones, Carla Pearl Jones, Anna Bennett, Mary Bennett, Shirley (Cleophus) Dixon; ten grandchildren; one son-in-law; and one daughter in-law.
