NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN BIRMINGHAM.

.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AFTER MIDNIGHT OVER

SOUTHEASTERN PORTIONS OF CENTRAL ALABAMA…ROUGHLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF

A LINE FROM DEMOPOLIS…TO CLANTON…TO LAFAYETTE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS…WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND GUSTY WINDS

ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS MOST OF CENTRAL ALABAMA ON MONDAY. THERE IS A

SMALL CHANCE THAT ISOLATED TORNADOES MAY BE ASSOCIATED WITH THESE

STORMS OR STRONG SHOWERS DUE TO THE TROPICAL NATURE OF THE SYSTEM.

SLOW MOVING AND TRAINING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY RESULT IN

HEAVY RAINFALL WITH LOCALIZED MINOR FLOODING.
