James C. Caver, 65, of Detroit, MI, formerly of Autauga County, died September 5, 2009 at Manor North-west Rehab Center in Detroit, MI. Services are scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 1:00 PM at New Harmony Baptist Church, Autaugaville, Alabama, officiated by Alfonsa Robinson. Burial will follow in Old Harmony Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.
Survivors include his special companion, Mary L. Holmes; three sons, Patrick Cook, Lee Marvin, Caver, and James Anthony Nixon; six daughters, Meresia, Felicia, Jamie Caver, Princes Johnson, Alice Rottler and Delois Parker; one brother, Leviston Caver, Jr.; three sisters, Willie Mae Motley, Bertha Caver and Ozetta Thomas; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
