Marion Tingle

Marion Franklin Tingle, 70, of Cullman, Alabama died Dec. 22, 2009 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Tingle was born in Hale County on Feb. 4, 1939 to Andrew Cullen and Opal Capps Tingle.
He is preceded in death by his parents: his wife of 26 years, Luvenie Smith Tingle, and his brother Lonzo Cullen Tingle.
He is survived by his wife: Katherine Dingler Tingle; daughters: Linda Smith (Julian) of Decatur; Judy Arnold (Glenn) of Priceville, Al; Holly Christensen of Bartonville, II; Sons — Hubert Smith of Priceville, Al and Randall Smith (Amy) of Demopolis, Al; on sister Sally Faye Lawrence (Jack) of Selma, Al.
He also leaves behind his granddaughters: Katie Raper (Jonathan), Kimberly Arnold, Rachel Smith, Lauren Smith, Lisa Smith and grandsons: Chris Russell, Jeremy (Tracy) Russell and David Arnold; and great-granddaughters, Macy Russell, Julia Grace Russell, Madison Arnold and Bianna Bello.
Funeral services were December 26, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Pineview Assembly with Ken Sanders and Randall Smith officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing. The family received friends from 1-2 p.m. at the church before the service began.
Active pallbearers were Chris Russell, Jeremy Russell, Glenn Arnold, Kenneth Lawrence, Jonathan Raper and Mickey Coley.
