The Selma and Dallas County Centre for Commerce will host its Sixth Annual Meeting on Thursday, Jan. 28, at the Carl C. Morgan Convention Center in downtown Selma.

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a reception sponsored by the Economic Development Authority. A seated dinner will follow at 7 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased for $30 each at the Centre for Commerce, 912 Selma Avenue. The cut-off date for ticket purchases is today.

The scheduled speaker is Nisa Miranda, director of the University of Alabama Center for Economic Development at The University of Alabama since 1995. She previously served for ten years as the director of the William R. Bennett Alabama International Trade Center, a premier research and trade development program in Alabama.
