Mrs. Rosa N. Moorer, formerly of Selma, AL, passed away January 9, 2010 in Columbus, OH. Funeral services were held January 16, 2010 in Columbus, OH.
Rosa was the daughter of Earnest Lee and Emma Moorer.
She met and married Willie James Moorer and they relocated to Columbus, OH in 1969 where they joined the Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Rosa is preceded in death by her husband, Willie James; father, Earnest; mother, Emma; and brothers, Jerry, Charlie, and Oscar Moorer.
Rosa N. leaves to cherish her memory five children, Curtis J., Quiency (Steven) Gibson, Clayron Craft, Veltrina Henderson, all of Columbus, OH and Inga Benson, of Winston Salem, NC; seven grandchildren, Tanika, Antonio, Shanell, Quentin, Markus, Dimitri, and Keira; three great-grandchildren, Travon, Lamar and Daveon, all of Columbus, OH; siblings, Cora Taylor, Clara Rumph, Orven Moorer, Robert (Nancy) Moorer, all of Columbus, OH, Pearlie Glover, Hattie Pullom, Earnest (Clara) Moorer, all of Selma, AL, Delores (Loveless) Fails, Annie (Stephen) Robinson, all of Birmingham, AL and Willie F. Moorer of Denver, CO; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.
Internment – Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, OH.
