Brother Adam King, Sr. was born April 23, 1952 to Mr. Arthur Harris, Sr. and Ms. Malinda Pittman of Browns, AL. He departed his life on January 20, 2010 at 5:20am at the Vaughan Regional Medical Center. He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife of 38 years, Laurene King; a loving mother, Malinda Pittman; five children, Clara Pasely of Marion Junction, AL, Adam King, Jr. of Hagerstown, MD, Amos King and Belinda King, of Marion Junction, AL, and Shawanda King (Mike) Rivers of Atlanta, GA; seventeen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at St. Mark P.B. Church, Hwy 5, Browns, AL officiated by Rev. Dwight Woods. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Glen-White Funeral Home.
