Local churches donate to Haitian relief funds

Dear Editor,
I, Rodney Morton, Pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Selma,
Alabama would like to thank the following churches for your generous
one day gift of $9,800.00 to the Haiti Relief Effort: Aimwell Baptist
Church Hazen, Calvary Baptist Church Selma, New Hope Baptist Church
Selma, Ebenezer Baptist Church Selma, Tabernacle Baptist Church Selma,
Second Baptist Church Selma , Hopewell Baptist Church Beloit, Greater
St. Paul Baptist Church Selma, Pine Level Baptist Church Greenville,
West Trinity Baptist Church Selma, Bethel Grove Baptist Church
Plantersville, Freedom Baptist Church Selma, Eagle Grove Baptist Church
Marion, and Friendship Baptist Church Minter. Your commitment to helping
the people of Haiti is noble, noteworthy, benevolent and sincerely
appreciated. I am proud to be apart of a beloved community that
recognizes the needs of our brothers and sisters in Haiti. I want to
encourage each of us to keep our hearts and hands engaged in the effort
to provide relief for the thousand of people in Haiti.
The goal of the church community is to continue to make a difference in
the disaster relief effort. With the help of donations from supporters
such as you we will continue to see improvements in this relief effort.
