HAYNEVILLE — An argument has left a Mosses man dead early today at a BP gas station at the intersection of U.S. 80 and Ala. 21.

Authorities say they have a single suspect in custody and another in for questioning.

Lowndes County Chief Deputy Lenny Lee said authorities received reports of the shooting at 6:44 a.m. today.

Lee said the victim was getting gas when a minor altercation resulted in gunfire.

Authorities will not release the name of the victim or those of the suspects until they investigate further.
