Mr. David Johnson, 57, resident of Marion Junction, Alabama passed away July 17, 2010 in Dallas County.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, July 24, 2010, 12:00 p.m. at Tabernacle of Praise officiated by Rev. Herman Whitt.

Burial will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery, Marion Junction, Alabama directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include his life companion Viola Johnson; parent Lena B. Johnson; three sons James E. Scott, Alvin D. Muse, and Tracy L. Cunningham; seven daughters, Maria Muse “Braxton”, Tamekia Robinson, Adrienne Johnson, Lolettima Johnson, Jennifer Calhoun, Lakeshia Oliver “Peake” and Shuntae Muse; three brothers Herman Johnson, Earnest Johnson, and Floyd Johnson; thirteen grandchildren, four son-in-laws, two brothers-in-laws, eight sisters-in-laws, eight nieces, and four nephews.

Other relatives include a host of friends that loved him dearly.

Pallbearers will be family and friends and Central Alabama Bus Line.
