School board interviewing for financial officer position

Six individuals from Selma will interview for the school financial officer position in the Selma City Schools System, beginning Wednesday.
The top six of eight applicants will interview with the school board at the Central Office.
Interviews and times include:
Willie Johnson and Adondra Williams, beginning at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday
Grindal Harris and Cynthia Mitchell, beginning at 5:30 p.m., Thursday
Elouise Brown and Shasta Brown, beginning at 5:30 p.m., Sept. 7
The interviews will be held in an open forum. Board members will choose a candidate soon after the final interviews.
Former school financial officer Maria Glover resigned Aug. 23 to accept a similar position with Fairfield City Schools in Jefferson County.
