Although Francis Marion (4-6) did not win Friday, the team still celebrated a successful season, which is not complete yet as they have qualified for the playoffs.

At Friday’s game, Devonta Knox scored two touchdowns and one two-point conversion and LaDarius Tabb scored two touchdowns.

“We did really well this year,” said Jarvis Jackson, head coach. “I’m real proud of the guys.”

Jackson said this is the first time the team has made the playoffs in 10 years.

The team will get Saturday off from practice, but on Sunday Jackson will have them watch film from the season and start workouts for the playoff game on Nov. 5 against Cottonwood.
