Bryant Edward “Skeeter” Hobbie, Jr., of Selma died Sunday, October 31, 2010 at his home.

Mr. Hobbie was preceded in death by his parents, Bryant E. Hobbie and Madelyn Wallace Hobbie; brother, Curtis Hobbie; and his first wife, Virginia Watson Hobbie.

He is survived by his wife, Alicia Hobbie of Selma; daughter, Amanda Hobbie of Selma; son, Jimmy (Becky) Hobbie of Selma; sister-in-law, Bobbie Hobbie of Selma; and several nieces, great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Fancher officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Dannie Jones, Brian Jones, Danny Hoggle, Wayne Shirah, Glen Hollingshead and Michael Meredith.
