Selma police are searching for a black man believed to be in his mid-20s and about 6-2, 210 pounds, who is a suspect in the robbery of the RBC Bank on Broad Street.

Police Detective Lt. Mike Harris said the man walked into the bank at 1:22 p.m. Monday and handed a teller a note threatening her life and demanding all the money in her cash drawer.

“The teller followed procedure and gave him the money from the cash drawer,” the detective said.

“We’ve had no more sightings on him,” Harris said.
