Selma police are following leads in the shooting death of Reuben Stitten of Selma.

Officers received a call at 1 a.m. Friday of a shooting on Hope Drive off Old Montgomery Highway near Craig Field Airport.

Lt. David Evans said Stitten died of a gunshot wound, possibly multiple.

“Leads have been developed and the investigation is progressing,” he said.
