George C. Colburn, age 63, of Selma, AL, passed away January 11, 2011.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Nancy Colburn.

He is survived by his wife, Ava Colburn; sons, Michael Colburn, Steven Colburn, George Quincey Colburn and Lee Colburn; daughters, Coleen Salter and Mary Jo Colburn; step-daughters, Bonnie Simmons and Mary (Mike) Sims; sister, Betty Ann Habig and eleven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George K. Jones, Sr. officiating.  Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Quincey Colburn, Steven Colburn, Alex Tyler. Jeremy Salter,

Jimmy Rollins and Amos Snodgrass.
