Alma L. Starks Rice, resident of Jamaica, New York formerly of Orrville, Alabama passed away January 17, 2011 in New York. She was born February 22, 1946 to the late Willie Starks and Lillie Mae Starks. She is preceded in death by brothers, Dennis Starks and Willie Starks; sister, Anjelina Starks Hillard; niece, Alice Mae Vaughan.

She leaves to cherish her memories ,husband, Clemmie Rice Sr.; five children, Sheila, Floresha, Belinda, Cleon, and Clemmie, Jr, all of New York; sister, Bessie Mae Vaughan of Orrville, Alabama; brothers, David and Eddie Starks of Cleveland, Ohio; nieces, Laura Merchant of Orrville, Bessie Adams of Selma; Joann Merchant Medinus of Georgia; Walter Starks of Montgomery, Alabama; great aunt, Susie Young of Orrville, Alabama. Other relatives include the Starks, Vaughan, and Merchant Families of Orrville, Alabama.
