Patrick Virgil Jernigan, age 25, died Saturday March 5, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Lena Heath, sons, Ty Scottie Jernigan and Drake Matthew Lindell, daughter, Kaylean Michelle Lindell; father and stepmother, William Scott and LaQuita Joan Jernigan; his mother and stepfather, Deborah Lynne and David C. Rivera; brother, Sam Dale Jernigan; sisters, Natalie Ruth Jernigan and Stacey Durrell Jernigan, grandmother, Ruth Chapman; nephews, Fred Maddox Brownlow and Jesse Sprinkle; stepbrothers and sisters, Mark Andrew Gilbert, Jeromy Duaine Lane, Cristy Lee Curvin and Sierra E. Rivera.

Patrick served our country in the United States Marine Corp. He served active duty for 4 years. As a combat marine, he served 2 tours in Iraq.

A Memorial Service will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church 4600 Preserve Parkway Hoover, AL  35226 (205) 822-9125 on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m. at the church.
