1:47 p.m. update: The Dallas County Emergency Management Agency just announced all parks and recreation department games scheduled for Friday have been canceled. As of right now, all Saturday games will be played as scheduled.

The Dallas County Emergency Management Agency just announced all Selma City Schools will dismiss at 2 p.m. in advance of inclement weather.

Meadowview Christian Academy has announced they plan to close at 1 p.m. Morgan Academy has also announced plans to close at 1 p.m.

Ellwood Christian will close at 2 p.m.
